The Toyako Hermit's Parents are the parents of the Toyako Hermit spirit that lives within Sakata Gintoki's wooden sword. Both parents wear orange sunglasses and have pointy beards like their son.
His mother is the Matamune Hermit, a bearded woman who is the spirit of Aitou Matamune and appears to be Katsura Kotarou's spirit guide, having taught him the ultimate ringing technique to bring in cellphone sponsors. She also appears to be the spirit of Hasegawa Taizou's sunglasses, having taught him cloning technique for Kaera Kimura Ring a ding dong. His mother is voiced by Kimiko Saitō.
Toyako's father is the spirit of cabarets and appears to be Shimura Tae's spirit guide. He is also a huge drunk who is always going through job transfers. His father is voiced by Masayuki Omuro.
