Occupying the 1st storey below the Yorozuya 万事屋 office, 'Snack Otose', or 'Otose's Snack House' is the name of a pub run by Otose お登勢. Otose also owns the building and is the landlady of Yorozuya. Otose usually send Catherine upstairs to collect rent from the trio, but in later episodes after 72, she would deploy Tama, after having equipped her with sufficient 'extra functions' (i.e fire power). Whenever Yorozuya are unable to pay, she would have them work as cleaners in her pub to pay off their debt.
