The deceased pet bulldog of Matsudaira Katakuriko, whose funeral Yamazaki Sagaru had the 'honor' of sharing in Episode 104 when he was presumably "killed" by Kawakami Bansai.

The dog's funeral was attended by all rank and file within Shinsengumi, including Commander Kondou Isao 近藤 勲. It however, turned into a raucous merry-making affair with the supposedly grieving dog-owner prancing around with a funny face painted on his exposed belly.
