Old Jouishishi 旧攘夷志士 refers to the ones who particpated in the Joui War 攘夷戦争 and fought against the amanto.
History
The Joui War 攘夷戦争 which lasted about 20 years after the arrival of the Amantos on Earth,also classified as the Old Joui Patriots 旧攘夷志士 where the foursome of Sakata Gintoki aka "Shiroyasha", Katsura Kotarou, Takasugi Shinsuke and Sakamoto Tatsuma were only involved in the later part of the Joui War.
