A man belonging to a village of hunters, Morinosuke 摩理之介 wanted to bring down rogue bear Masamune which had been infected by a strange mushroom virus and had been terrorizing the villages.[1]
He felt personally responsible for the bear's current predicament as he kept the bear cub when it was orphaned at a young age, but abandoned it soon after due to villagers' objection.
