Greetings! My name is HumbleX and I'm a Fandom CTM (Content Team Member). I'm messaging you today to inquire if it's alright if I work on the fandom to add content to pages, for example article stubs and whatnot. I'll also be scoping out the pages for grammar, spelling, etc. if that of course is alright with you?
Hello VBrannon! I’m Alex, & I’ve been assigned as the new Wiki Manager for Gintama Wiki. Basically this means it’s my job to help you if you ever need anything to make it easier to do your job as an Admin on Fandom, be it in design assistance or even just taking your feedback for the company. Occasionally I may pop in to see how things are doing, to ensure the health of the Wiki, but broadly speaking I won’t be a bother unless you need me :) You can reach out to me on Discord @ Ursuul#0575 if you like, cheers!
Hello, do you remember me? I want to apologize, I have realized that if I were in your shoes I'd have removed the wiki page too. I understand that you being a admin, you don't want bad wiki pages all over the webpage.
Look, I came into this wiki community since I thought it was an expressive community. I actually realized that it was quite the opposite, and it tried to be a professional one. You see, I thought everyone here expressed their appreciation towards gintama, and how other people thought of it, which caused me to come into it. Your removal of my page was just my realization of this wiki not being what I thought it was. In my mind I created a facade of this wiki-- after your removal, I basically felt like I was betrayed by the community itself. I bonded with it, and I thought everyone was accepting, but your removal made me think otherwise. If you think about it in that way, I think it's reasonable why I acted out like this.
Furthermore, I removed my story since I believed that this was not the community to share it with. My story was the type of stories you'd post on an expressive website. I think I'll no longer edit on this wiki-- not because I'm mad or anything, but just because I am dissappointed of what this wiki actually is. I think youtube is best for an expressive community. Also, I'd like to end this argument respectfully. You're an admin and you know what this community is, but I respectfully suggest you to remind other people what this wiki is for whenever you'll delete another page.
I understand. Might I suggest you visit the Gintama reddit as that is what you might be interested in?
I joined this wikia fully aware that it was more of an informative site not unlike most other wikias and before the wikia.com was changed to fandom.com, changing its connotations. But I understand your reaction.
