Introduction
Space Pirates Harusame is the largest crime syndicate in the universe led by Amantos that was involved in many illicit activities, ranging from having secret dealings with the Bakufu government the Shinsengumi mutiny was a planned diversion to conceal the liaison between these 2 parties, as explained by Kawakami Bansai in Episode 106 to selling military arms to extremist factions.
Story
Harusame Arc
The first appearance of the organization was their distributing of drugs that that one of The Yorozuyas clients had been obessed with. Gintoki though eventually faces of againts the ring leader Daraku of the dealing and the Shinsegumi thereafter put down their business in the city.
Benizakura Arc
The Harusame appears before Gintoki and Katsura at the top of the Kihetai ship fleet as Takasugi had joined forces with them to be able to tobble the bakufu more easily. Gintoki and Katsursa fiercily fights many pirates off before retreating in parasolt.
