Story[]
Otose gives the gang a break and sends them to the mountains to enjoy an inn that belongs to an old friend. But isn't it a little... haunted? And the bus isn't coming back anytime soon...

Trivia[]
- This arc mostly parodies the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series. Also Tomokazu Sugita, the voice of Gintoki, voices Joseph Joestar in the first season of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
- When Shinpachi, Kagura, Tae, and later on Gintoki, get possessed by the ghosts, they turn into the Japanese heavy metal singer Demon Kakka ("His Excellency Demon").
- The song played when they are possessed is an audio version of The house of wax from Demon Kakka
- The way the spirits join up to Tagosaku in the end seems similar to how the Great Spirit from Shaman King is made. The Great Spirit is compossed of a shapeless mass of trillions of spirits interconnected.
