Okey i know i Shouldnt do this but i just wanted to know for sure ,there are alot of forums that say that gintama is stopped ( they do allot of these jokes and gintama 202 should came out on 1 april but it dindt came out so i went crazy) does gintama stops or not , wanted to know for sure
- The overall director Takamatsu Shinji has said in various interviews and (presumably) his own twitter post (http://twitter.com/eli_ossan) that this is not the end of Gintama. See http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-03-29/gintama-director-shinji-takamatsu/it-not-over.
- However, Sunrise Studio is only the animation studio, and does not really have much control over the production budget. Until official announcements come from the sponsors themselves, or TV Tokyo, Dentsu etc, the Gintama series has, for me at least, ended at episode 201 on 25 Mar 2010.
- But take note that reruns are currently being shown every Monday, see Gintama_Episode_List/Yorinuki_Gintama-san.
