Plot[]

The Dakini warriors were shocked that their leader Ougai was defeated by a bunch of women. For the first time, Kyuubei said that she was proud to have been born a girl. A flashback shows that Tsukuyo was hesitant about leaving Yoshiwara unguarded. Hinowa and Seita encourage her to join the war above ground, as they would keep Yoshiwara safe. As Tsukuyo leaves with a small group of the Hyakka women, Hinowa watches from afar and tells Seita that Tsukuyo was too stubborn to fight beside the man she fell for. Back in the alleyway, the women attack the Dakini warriors, but Kyuubei is hit by Ougai's club, who reveals that the kunai did not kill him.

Sotatsu and the Shinra warriors show up and capture Tae and the cabaret girls, demanding to know the inventor of the Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Gengai cannon. Gengai and Otose admit that it was the both of them, and ask that Sotatsu release the girls and capture them instead. However, Katsuo, Kyoushirou and Kozenigata appear one by one to take credit for building the cannon, refusing to sacrifice Gengai and Otose. Soon, the other Kabukicho residents also show up to ask Sotatsu to take them all instead as they were all responsible for protecting the town. Sotatsu ignores them and throws Tae and the girls off the building. Sotatsu tells the townsfolk that he was not prepared to cut a deal with people whose days are numbered. Otose replies that she was not willing to do so either, as Jirocho and his gang shows up to fight the Shinra warriors. In the alleyway, Pirako and her men have built a net and saved the fallen girls.

Sotatsu mocks the townsfolk for waiting for an old man like Jirocho to be their saviour. Jirocho said that the courage of the women of Kabukicho often makes the men appear like cowards, but it was now time for the cowards of Kabukicho to show off their chivalry. Jirocho and Gintoki fight Sotatsu, and the two remember their clash with the Shinra in the Kabukicho Four Devas Arc. More Shinra warriors appear and Pirako joins the fight. Jirocho tells Gintoki that he has returned to the town because of Pirako, who has taken a liking to Gintoki, but Pirako insists that her father rushed back to Edo the moment he heard about the war. Jirocho wanted to express his gratitude to Kabukicho, the same town that his old friend Tatsugorou knew and loved, and asked that the man watched over the town and its people.

On the rooftop, Otose watches Jirocho fight off the enemies. In a flashback, Tatsugorou confronts Jirocho, who has just beaten up group of gangsters using his name to bully the townsfolk. The two men get into a fist fight, but end up becoming good friends. One day, Tatsugorou encourages Jirocho to woo Otose. Jirochou punches him for giving up on the woman he fell for. The two men settle their dispute with another fist fight and decide that the loser must woo Otose. Jirochou wins the battle, having long realised that Otose has fallen for the police officer. After the fight, he passes Otose and asks if she would still welcome him into her newly opened bar; she warmly agrees and calls him the biggest fool in the country.

Sotatsu said that his army have taken over the building. The Yoruzuya trio, Jirocho and Pirako appear to be overwhelmed by Shinra warriors attacking from both sides, but it was revealed that half of them were actually Katsuo and his men in disguise.
