Introduction

Dakini Tribe 荼吉尼族 are one of the three great warrior classes of Amanto together with the Yato and Shinra tribes.^[1]

So far only males have been shown, it is unknown if there are female Dakinis. Onijishi was the first Dakini who appeared to be Gintoki's enemy. When Hedoro appeared in episode 47, everybody including the Yorozuya were scared of him.

The only Dakini family has been shown is Hedoro.

The Dakini later invade earth on the side of the Liberation Army along with the other two great warrior races of the world,the Yato and Shinra.

Biology

The Dakini race have the appearance of an Oni, they are known to have scary facial features along with their red eyes. They are giants with large muscular bodies and green/blue skin colour and have furry legs. They are naturally strong. Male Adults have large horns while young males have small horns. Nothing is shown about their female race.

Their bodies can't handle hot water so they prefer cold ice water for baths. Their major weakness is lotions, which burns through their skins.

Culture

They take full care of their horns just as their lives. The horns represent their pride and soul. If their horn is broken, it tarnishes their pride and soul.
